Description
Sansevieria Masoniana Variegated (Variegated Snake Plant) is a succulent plant in the Asphodelaceae family, genus Sansevieria. Its leaves display mottled yellow‑green or white stripes, and it is tolerant of shade and drought, making it suitable for indoor green plant care.
Light: The plant prefers diffused light and should be kept away from direct strong sunlight. It needs 3–5 hours of diffused light each day. In summer, provide shade; in other seasons, it can benefit from more sunlight.
Watering: Sansevieria Masoniana Variegated is highly drought tolerant. Water only after the soil has dried completely. During low temperatures, control watering to avoid waterlogging.
Temperature: Optimal growth temperature is 18–30 °C. In winter, keep the temperature above 5 °C; temperatures below 2 °C can cause freezing damage.
Soil: Use loose, well‑ventilated succulent or cactus soil. Adding 30–50 % coarse soil improves drainage.
Propagation: The plant can be propagated by leaf cuttings or by dividing the plant. The best growth periods are spring and autumn.
