Description
Phyllobolus resurgens is a succulent plant of the Prunaceae family, commonly known as Tianci. It has irregular tuberous roots and unique leaf morphology, and is often cultivated as a miniature bonsai. Morphological characteristics: The tuberous roots are gray‑green and branch frequently; new shoots turn purplish‑red when exposed to light. Leaves cluster at the tip of the branch, are slender rod‑like, densely covered with suction‑cup‑shaped small wart‑like protrusions, and the leaf surface bears transparent granules.
