Description

Suberogena cyclophylla, commonly known as Tui Jia Luo, is a flowering plant in the order Asterales, suborder Rosids, class Magnoliopsida, division Angiosperms. Tui Jia Luo requires ample light and can be placed in an area that receives full sun, but it should be partially shaded to avoid overexposure. It needs at least 3‑5 hours of sunlight per day. If the plant grows in the wrong direction, it should be repotted periodically. If natural light is insufficient, a grow light can be installed indoors, keeping it on during daylight hours.

Watering

During its growing season, Tui Jia Luo needs water, with a watering interval of 7‑10 days. Before watering, the soil should be relatively dry, but it should not be completely dry. When watering, avoid the root zone and water to the soil surface. You can water in a circular motion from the top, or use a soaking method. For soaking, place the pot in a larger container, fill with water to a depth of about one‑third to one‑half the height of the pot, and let it sit for 15‑20 minutes before removing it. The tuberous plant is drought tolerant, so avoid overwatering. In summer, take care to protect it from rain. In winter, reduce watering to once every 30‑40 days, and stop watering altogether if temperatures drop too low.
