Description
Cosmic Hall (scientific name: Echinocereus knippelianus Liebner) is a perennial herbaceous plant in the cactus family, belonging to the genus Echinocereus. The plant originates from northern Mexico and southern United States and has typical cactus-like morphology, with fleshy stems and funnel‑shaped pink flowers, making it highly ornamental. It grows best at temperatures between 18 °C and 28 °C, prefers plenty of sunlight and well‑ventilated air, and needs a well‑drained loam‑based substrate. In summer it requires shade and controlled watering; in winter the potting soil should stay dry and the plant should be moved indoors for warmth. Cultivation management should pay attention to ventilation and insect control during the rainy season and periods of high temperature. As an excellent ornamental flowering plant, it can be used for greenhouse cultivation of succulents or as indoor decorative potted plants.
