Euphorbia Trigona Variegata (Red Dragon Bone) is a succulent shrub in the family Euphorbiaceae, genus Euphorbia, and is a cultivated variant of Euphorbia trigona.

Morphological characteristics
The plant grows upright with branching, has three ridges, dark reddish stems, and the tips of branches bear paired reddish‑brown spines. The leaves are spoon‑shaped, dark red, with a sharp spine on each side of the base; the leaf tissue is extremely thin and falls off easily. The inflorescence is a cup‑shaped compound umbel, usually borne on the upper ridges of the branches.

Distribution characteristics
Native to Africa (e.g., Angola, Congo, etc.), it is now widely cultivated worldwide, with some cultivation in China. It adapts to ample sunlight, warm and dry conditions, is drought tolerant but dislikes dampness.
